When you have a truckmount with 2½” outlet pipe, you can use the AH140 2½” male starter Cool Cuff to connect 2½” hose directly to the machine. The 2½” vacuum hose must have an AH142 2½” female swivel Cool Cuff to connect to the starter cuff.

AH148 2½” to 2” External Reducer
AH120 2” Male
If you want to connect 2” hose to the machine use the AH148 2½” external reducer Cool Cuff and a AH120 2” male Cool Cuff . The 2” vacuum hose must have an AH122PS 2” female swivel Cool Cuff to connect to the 2” male Cool Cuff.
2½” Cool Y Assembly is used in the “4 to the Door” set up with a 2½” hose for the run from the door to the tool. (A 2” hose can be added later in the run for flexibility at the tool.)
Two 2” hoses from the truck mount must each have AH120 2” male cuffs to connect to the two AH122PS 2” female swivel connectors. The one 2½” hose to the wand will have an AH142 2½” female swivel cuff to connect to the AH140 2½”male starter connector on the AH151 2½” Cool Y assembly.
Here is the standard application of the2½” Swivel Cool Cuffs to connect two sections of 2½” vacuum hose. An AH143 2½” male Cool Cuff is connected to one hose and an AH142 2½” female swivel Cool Cuff is connected to the other hose. The smooth bore creates less turbulence and resistance to the airflow increasing the velocity of the air flow at the tool.

This Cool Cuff™ AH146R Barbed Reducer cuff enables you to connect a larger 2.5″ diameter vacuum hose to a standard 2″ vacuum hose. Simply push the barbed end inside your 2.5″ hose (just like a typical barbed insert for traditional vinyl cuffs) then thread/spin on a 2″ AH120 Cool Cuff™ Male . Then simply connect to Cool Cuff™ Female Swivel on your 2″ vac hose and you are up and running, properly reduced with no vacuum loss.
